Flat Tire Repair

If your tire is damaged due to a road hazard, and can be safely repaired, the tire will be repaired per manufacturer's guidelines at any participating Green Drop Garage location. The repair will be provided to you free of charge if performed by a participating Green Drop Garage location. If the vehicle is 25 miles or further from a Green Drop Garage location the repair can be performed by a non-Green Drop Garage; the plan will cover up to $35.00 to have the tire repaired. The road hazard coverage will remain in effect on the covered tire for the remainder of the 1-year warranty period. 

Tire Replacement Coverage

Road Hazard: If a tire covered by this plan becomes unserviceable because of a road hazard during the 1-year warranty period, it will be replaced with a new tire. If available, an exact make/model replacement tire will be installed. If not available, a comparable quality tire will be installed. When the tire failure occurs in the first 25% of usable treadwear, and if in the opinion of the servicing facility the tire cannot be safely repaired per manufacturer's guidelines, the tire will be replaced with coverage up to 100% of the original selling price of the tire. After the first 25% of treadwear, you will be charged for the consumed usable tread wear on the original tire, times the original selling price of the tire. You will be responsible for any taxes, mounting, balancing, and any other miscellaneous fees. When the tread is worn down to 3/32"  the tire is considered worn out and is not eligible for road hazard adjustment. If the vehicle is 25 miles or further from a Green Drop Garage location the replacement can be performed by a non-Green Drop Garage. Please call 503-236-7767 prior to authorizing any replacement cost for payment or reimbursement details. 

Treadwear: If the tire tread wears out prior to the warranted miles, the tire will be replaced on a prorated basis. Proration will be calculated against the original purchase price, based upon the elapsed miles, as it relates to the warrantied miles. Treadwear Warranty not applicable to Ultra High Performance (V Rated and above) and Light Truck (LT) rated tires. Excludes tires prematurely worn due to misalignment, worn or defective suspension parts, over or under inflation or lack of rotation.

Vehicles equipped with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) may incur additional costs for tire rotations, flat repairs and tire replacements due to additional labor required for resetting the TPMS sensors. This warranty does not cover subsequent damage to TPMS sensors incurred during a tire failure or flat tire.

To qualify for this warranty:

• You must be the original purchaser of the tires.
• You must have purchased the tires from Green Drop Garage after 10/1/2019



Conditions of this warranty:

• The purchaser must rotate and balance their tires as outlined by the vehicle manufacturer.
• The purchaser must operate their tires at inflation pressures outlined by the vehicle manufacturer.
  

• "Road hazard failure" is defined as a tire that becomes unserviceable due to cuts, non-repairable punctures or impact damage. Green Drop Garage will repair tires with tread-face injuries in accordance with established RMA (Rubber Manufacturers Association) standards.
• This warranty covers road hazard failures in passenger, performance and light truck tires purchased from Green Drop Garage.
• This warranty provides credit based upon remaining usable tread at the time of failure due to road hazard.
• "Usable tread" is defined as the original tread depth of a tire less (3/32 of an inch).
• Credit is determined by multiplying the usable remaining tread by the current price of the tire.
• This warranty does not replace or modify any original tire manufacturer’s warranty on material and workmanship.



• A tire that is damaged/failed due to vandalism.
• A tire that is damaged/failed due to an accident.
• A tire that is damaged/failed due to commercial use.
• A tire that is damaged/failed due to racing.
• A tire that is damaged/failed due to off-road use.
• A tire that is damaged/failed due to snow chains or studs.
• A tire that is damaged/failed due to rapid or irregular wear.
• A tire that is damaged/failed due to wear from worn mechanical components on the vehicle.
• Tires transferred from the vehicle on which they were originally installed.
• Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of vehicle or consequential damage. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply.

What Is Excluded From This Warranty:

You must pay for any non-warranty service you order to be performed at the same time as any warranty service. This warranty will not apply to your repaired vehicle if it has been damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident, alteration or “tampering with” (by other than the Facility or Facility employees). The Facilities employees and/or agents do not have authority to modify the terms of this warranty, nor to make any promises in addition to those contained within this warranty.
